- Description:
The piston head is made of duralumin EN AW 6012 T6 on the CNC machining centre. Nine holes are drilled on the front side.The air stream flows through these holes during compression thus expanding the O-ring which provides for better sealing of the space between the piston head and the cylinder.
The piston head also includes an axial ball bearing which allows easy rotation of the spring in compression.This rotation significantly increases the service life of the spring.
