Tourniquet Combat (black)

The C-A-T tourniquet (Combat Application Tourniquet) is designed to stop, mostly arterial, bleeding. A simple application that (depending on the extent of the injury of the individual's resistance) can be handled even by the injured person with one hand. When properly applied, the tourniquet completely cuts off blood flow to the limb below the strangulation site. A moving tape is built into the tourniquet, which exerts considerable peripheral pressure on the injured limb.

Instructions for use

1. Apply a tourniquet proximal to the bleeding site and place the injured limb over the belt loop.
2. Pull the strap very tight and fasten it back on itself.
3. Fasten the belt around the limb.
4. Rotate the rod until the bright red bleeding stops
5. Place the rod into the clip and secure.
6. Glue the belt over the rod, for small extremes, continue to glue the belt around the limb and over the winding rod.
7. Secure the rod and belt with the strap, attach it to the opposite hook on the clip.
8. Measure the application time.
