Specna Arms SA-A03 ONE™ Kestrel ASG Carbine™ ETU

Eshooter's Kestrel V2 Basic ETU is an advanced ETU system that features ease of use, durability and functionality. Programmable with trigger pulls, the Kestrel V2 Basic works with both brush and brushless motors in High Speed and High Torque configurations to increase replica reliability and protect internal parts in the event of overload due to motor damage or battery drain.

Kestrel Basic System Features:

• Programmable presets in 5 stages with piston position learning function. (Function requires several individual shots after battery connection for calibration).
• Active interrupt. The replica performs a full cycle on each shot, so there is no unnecessary overload in the GB due to performing part of the cycle.
• Locked rotor protection, feature protects the inside of the replica in the event of motor damage.
• Battery discharge protection. Protection against battery discharge. The motor vibrates, the blue LED lights up five times to indicate a low battery.
• Low/high voltage protection. The module detects the number of battery cells and adapts operation to different cell counts and voltages from 6 V to 17 V.

The Specna Arms Kestrel ASG SA-A03 ONE™ ETU replica was made primarily from a uniform zinc-aluminum alloy, with steel elements used in the most critical areas of the replica (all screws, pins and tactical sling are therefore made of steel). The SF-type stock, which houses the battery, and the pistol grip are made of polymer plastic. The body of the replica and the RIS mounting rail have undergone an anodizing process, which provides a high level of protection against corrosion. The replica itself has been powder coated after surface sandblasting. This ensures that the paint applied is much more resistant to abrasion than usual.

The replica was very well mounted - in a way that has been seen almost exclusively on G&P or Classic Army manufacturers - and perfectly balanced. This ensures near-ideal handling of the replica, with its weight being almost imperceptible once the replica rests on the shoulder.

The replica uses a quick-change spring system known as Enter & Convert™. This allows the replica's performance to be quickly and efficiently matched to the conditions expected on the battlefield, without the need for access to a workshop or a range of specialised tools: once the gearbox is removed from the replica body, the spring change process takes literally seconds.

The benefits of the Enter &; Convert™ system can hardly be overstated. Given the prevailing trend in Europe to legally restrict the speed at which replicas can be discharged, and the existing provisions in the environment itself, this system gives the user considerable scope and freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system allows the spring to be changed in a minimum of time and the replica's exit velocity to be adapted to the playing area, thus ensuring an ideal compromise between the gun's effectiveness and the safety of oneself and other players.

The replica has been fully adapted to work with LiPo and LiFe batteries. With a base initial discharge rate of ~410FPS , guaranteed by the pre-installed spring, the replica is perfectly suited for medium range operations. An M90 type spring is also included to reduce the initial speed to ~310 FPS, making the replica perfectly suited for short range or indoor operations.

The transmission, reinforced at the cylinder head height, houses the steel spring guide that is part of the Enter & Convert™ system and is supported by 8mm ball bearings and steel toothed washers. The system is secured by four return latches. The replica is factory fitted with a precision, rotatable polymer Hop-Up chamber that allows for a very accurate and stable reloading system.

The upgraded version has a number of new reinforced parts, such as:

• a set of reinforced steel gears
• a steel spring guide
• a lightweight polymer piston
• sealed aluminium piston head
• sealed metal cylinder head
• Sealed metal nozzle

The rifle is equipped with a 22mm RIS rear rail, a set of RIS front rails and an adjustable stock. The RIS top rail is fitted with metal flip-up sights, but these can be freely replaced with any optoelectronic sight. Thanks to the sliding stock, topped with a non-slip platform, the length of the replica can be adjusted according to the shooter's build and preferences. The standard flame silencer is mounted on a 14mm left-hand thread, which allows an acoustic silencer to be mounted instead.

To increase the realism of the game, the replica is also equipped with a functional bolt release.

The replica also comes with a high capacity steel magazine that holds 300 rounds.
