Lipol batteries are great but need a little more care than conventional NiCd and NiMh batteries. If you use a lipol alarm or a voltage meter and you disconnect the battery in time and have it charged with a quality charger with a balancer, you do not have to worry about damage and they will serve you great.
Some weapons are equipped with so-called smart electronics, which can monitor low voltage lipol batteries.
