The pouch for four magazines is double, which means that it takes up space as two pockets, ie. four columns of PALS bindings.

Straps for attachment and PALS binding on the back of the pouch are a matter of course.

The pouch can be closed with Velcro flaps. You can also roll up the flap, or tuck in and carry the pouch open for quick cartridge replacement. An elastic band around the perimeter of the pouch ensures that the containers do not fall out, even when the pouch is half empty.
